Founded on a commitment to research excellence

Dr. Minakshi Middha founded The Research Beacon in 2021 to give doctoral scholars and faculty the kind of structured, honest research guidance she had spent two decades providing inside universities. With over 23 years of academic and industry experience, she has served as Associate Professor of Marketing and HR at Chandigarh University, where she managed Ph.D. admissions, supervision and regulatory compliance and coordinated the MBA, M.Com, B.Com and Travel & Tourism programmes, and earlier as Assistant Professor at Ferozepur Institute of Management. She continues to teach as guest faculty at Chitkara Business School and Mody University.
Her work centres on research methodology, systematic and bibliometric literature review, proposal development, quantitative analysis and publication support. She has published in Scopus and Web of Science listed journals, contributed book chapters and presented at national and international conferences, and has conducted more than fifty workshops and training programmes on SPSS, SmartPLS, Biblioshiny, VOSviewer and academic writing for faculty and research scholars. Before entering academia she spent seven years in banking and life insurance, an experience that grounds her research guidance in the realities of practice.

Peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science and ABDC, and discipline-specific indexes such as PubMed where relevant. We verify every journal against the index listing before recommending it.
Any. Every university has its own synopsis and thesis guidelines; share yours and we format to it exactly. We have worked with scholars from state, central, private and deemed universities across India.
Yes. Your topic, data, drafts and university details are never shared, reused or shown to anyone outside the team working with you. We sign a confidentiality undertaking on request, and all files are deleted from our systems once your work is complete if you ask us to.
Yes. Most of our scholars work with us remotely — calls, screen-sharing for analysis, and shared documents for drafts. Our Mohali centre is open for those who prefer to meet in person.
